Other 4x4s I've flat towed have specified t case in neutral and transmission in park. My 6spd manual Ram specifies tcase in neutral and transmission in gear.

The way the weight is distributed on the trailer is prone to shift forward allowing the front trailer axle to take the lion's share of the load. If this happens during braking and maneuvering, it's possible that it'll begin a positive reinforcing vigorous side to side shake.

I remember when you were planning your trip and you were contemplating some somewhat questionable ideas.
With this kind of thing, overkill is underrated. OP should take the F350 and the trailer that's way overrated for the task at hand and have no doubts and no worries.
Like many of us, i have a bunch of 24V military equipment and I don't want to buy separate batteries for all of it.
