The other thing that comes to mind is most of us are so use to mechanical gauges that are not as precise or rather have such fine adjustment as the computer generated screens that its a bit of a technology trust/learning lesson.
New information for comparison. my other 1030 i ran unloaded for about 20 minutes and its Oil dropped down to about 42psi everything seems reasonable on the current unit at this point. I know older kubotas would even run on 7-10 psi so we are well in the green at this point
Fyi Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Title 49, diesel fuel is considered a hazardous material, specifically a Class C Combustible . you are limited to 119 gallons or several 119 gallon tanks up to 1000 gallons without a hazmat endorsement
Another update. Did not have time tonight to hook up more load, but i checked all the fluids and no oil or fuel or coolant intrusion. Fired the unit up applied the 1.4kw load again for another 30 minutes. starting psi was 62 after 20 minutes of slowly going down it went as low as 36psi which...
I had some time tonight to work on the unit. Drained fluids last night. So tonight i changed filters and filled fluids. ran unit with 1400 watt load for 30 minutes oil went down to 48psi started at 62, but temperatures were more normal range, burped system several time, engine stayed steady...
Worked on the 1030 some more. changed fuel filters and i do believe i have water in the fuel, but i am still not convinced that is the only issue. unit does not over heat or get hot real fast so i am thinking head gasket is good, oil pressure starts out at 62psi and after about 10-15 minutes of...
So i couldnt help myself and bought another 1030, inoperative. I filled with fluids but did not change filters, hooked up batteries, turned the disconnect on and it fired right up. 53hrs on the dcs and matches the analog meter. several bolts missing from the housing enclosure, but inside does...
I would not stress to much about it until you lay hands on it. I have taught some of the folks at these GP lots more than they ever knew before I showed up. As far as TM's i use a used $90 chrome book i bought from Walmart.com down load all the tms that way i have a screen to look at and can...
The 1MPG comes with two, tool free Jet Screws, for operations at varying elevations. RED for elevations from Sea level up to 2500 Ft. and BLUE for elevations from 2500 up to 5000 Ft. (The Blue jet screw is recommended for all elevations when gasoline is used as the primary fuel). The following...
Run it on gasoline and you will be fine, but make sure that you have the correct orifice in the bottom of the carburetor. I will look when i get home at the manual but its the same one for high altitude.
So i have been buying and selling these 531a units for a while now and rather enjoy working on them. Probably 20 units in and many more to go in the waiting area. I started on this unit 2 weeks ago. it came in with no oil plugs or dip sticks, fuel lines rotted, wire loom toast, fuel tank...
Not familar with the NF2D but is there a way to hardwire instead of using convenience outlets.I have a Magnum light plant and basically you unplug the control panel and plug in to the Generator. Here is a thread and a contact of someone who was using their unit to power their house...
I have been following this thread for some time now and i can't take it anymore. I have heard about this would have should have bought this other generator deal to many times and don't really care anymore.I will stop reading/responding to this thread as this will never go anywhere. As I am...
I sell the NOS wix filters from military stock and i will say all of them just have the bowl gasket. On the other hand i had a few of the Onan/cummins/Lister petter filters that contained a whole gasket set. Although not a fan usually of Fram i had 5 of those filters and they also contained...
I find going to yahoo or google and searching the terms will bring up the steel soldiers thread. easier in my opinion, as i have no luck with the sites search engine
I too broke a half inch extension and breaker bar. air impact would not touch it, nor would 2 electric/battery operated. I tried 3/4 but my impact socket was too thick and i didnt have an extension. so bought an extension borrowed a socket from work and sprayed in kroil for 24hrs and somehow...
