So, I did a 3 hour drive the other week, and noticed oil leaking from my front left hub inner seal, oil coming from my intermediate rear pinion, and my right rear two hubs were way hot (others were cool to the touch).
So, since I need to touch all three axles, I am leaning towards doing all...
As many of you know, I cut a brand new dash and added two gauges and 13 switches.

This removed the switch pod above the AC evaporator. I also have an Arduino controller from...
All,
I have notice behavior with my transmission that is different than what I am used to on civilian AT cars.
When I am climbing a hill and I want to go faster, but the transmission is already loaded and I am starting to slow down…. If I push the pedal to the floor, I am expecting a down...
I did a longer road trip 2 hours each way. The next week one of my better tires started losing air.
I looked for nails and did not find one. CTIS does not work yet. Over 2 weeks one tire goes flat
What is a likely culprit for a tire that used to be really good tire?
CTIS valve? O-ring...
Anyone know off the top of their heads what screws hold the windshield defroster deflector in?
Guessing #8 x 1/2” pan head screws?

Had an idea the other day….
I am planning on building my own 24v battery banks out of individual lithium 300ah cells.
I originally planned to have a 24-12v converter to supply my 12v accessories.
But, my lift bed will use a 12v utility winch. That can pull a lot more amps.
I am wondering...
So, I have a DPST battery disconnect switch that disconnects the grounds from the 12v and 24v battery banks.
The other day, I turned the disconnect switch, jumped in, turned the main power dash switch, dash lit up, hit the starter button…. Heard the starter lurch and all lights went off. Dead...
Ok, my uncle in-law is spending the weekend with us and he recently retired from working for NAPA (now he is part time). He said he prided himself on being able to find any part…. Especially hard to find parts.
I asked if he thought he could find shocks for these trucks…. He said yes.
I...
Had a scare. My oil pressure gauge was always very shaky, but was always centered around 40….. this weekend it started shaking lower and lower…. I checked the oil level and the light never came on. Now it is shaking around 80….. occasionally it would drop to below zero then bounce full scale...
My Gen2 always blows hot….. really hot.
My guess is the valve is allowing water to always pass.
Any suggestions?
I am thinking of adding a 5/8 ball valve.
Can anyone confirm the size?

I am needing to pull my front right bring perch nuts off to swap my lower cab tilt piston mount.
I have several 6 ton jack stands, but that feels like they need more safety factor for holding the front end. (And they are too short to reach the frame).
Anyone have a recommendation for taller...
All,
Looking at options for wiring auxiliary fuse panel. Where did you mount it? Where did you tap in?
I have a 1999 A1.
Thanks!

Anyone have a spare mount? I guess you have to have you skid plate on to pull your cab back down. My mount bent and snapped.

My coolant line from the tank to engine is too short to fit my AC compressor into place. It would rub on the serpentine belt if I moved it.
The TM calls it:
Rubber silicone class Q 1” 400lb rated.
I found 50psi rated silicone hose.
Any thoughts?
Also, probably should swap the Home Depot...
Ok, I was pulling off my front skid plate and noticed the casting for the front right spring perch (M1083) had blistering paint. I chipped it all off as best I could (hard to get at), blew the dust off, then painted on ospho. Last time I used ospho, I saw instant fizzing. This time, nothing. It...
