I cannot find my AF8 crimper….. never used it. Hate to buy another, then find mine.
I bought some of the m connectors to fix and modify my light harnesses.
Would this potentially be a cheaper alternative?

I want to wire in some trailer led lights on the back of my truck higher up. I have a reason…..
Anyone interested in making and selling me some male-female splices. Basically a male and female connector to go between the light plugs and the truck harness using the military connectors, then have...
I have a battery tender that I leave on the batteries. They are about 3 years old Walmart batteries.
I noticed crystals forming on the top of each battery. I am wondering if they are overcharging or what what could be causing this.
Anyone have any experience with rubberized undercoating? Suggestions?
I am thinking of spraying above my rear tires (not on a stock bed).

So, apparently when the army painted my truck, they got after it with a razor blade and scratched the glass.
I received a recommendation from a glass guy to wax it with windshield wax.
Any other opinions before I pull the trigger?

All, I just noticed that both my bushings are toast.
My cab in the rear is shifted to the drivers side by about 1”. Can bad bushings cause that or is there something else I need to look at?
How would you straighten it? I have the passenger bushing out and there is a lot of slop up front...
Anyone have a write up or video on the easiest way to get the driver side swapped? I did the passenger side once and it was no fun. Had to use a forklift to lift on the bolt tip then a sledge hammer to pop it loose. I don’t have access to a forklift anymore. The driver side looks worse….

Do you have to have them day one or is that a nice to have. I imagine temporary boxes don’t need them, but when is it a requirement?

I am planning out how to mount 2 spare tires on the back of my rig.
At one time I considered having two of the factory hydraulic units welded center to center, but the weight seamed excessive.
Right now I am leaning toward a davit crane and two cradles.
Any major reason not to use a cradle...
Finally got my doors put back together and the door lock on one side doesn’t fully unlock the door on the inside. But, I can still unlock it from the outside. Is this an adjustment issue or maybe my carpeting is catching the lock mechanism?

All, just posting what I did to fix my seams on my rubber jump mat. The threads were snapping loose and the seams were starting to split. I asked a local boat cover maker to sew the seams back, but her machine was not big enough to fit under, so she gave free advice and some vinyl seam tape...
So, I just installed my winch/auxiliary harness into my dash…. Getting ready for my evaporator install.
does the CTIS harness route from under the dash in this hole from the center area?
All,
I am making some DIY harnesses for things like lights, diesel heater, etc….
I would like to connectorize it some.
Does anyone have a connector series they prefer?
Some need to be water tight…. Some will not.
Do you prefer a different brand all together?

When @fuzzytoaster and I swapped a winch from an A0 to my truck, we drained all of the winch oil and saved it. I am about to get ready to fire up the winch again.
The oil “looks” clean and clear. Should I reuse it or swap in fresh? I forget the volume, but it is a lot of oil to buy if it is...
