Plus the steel MRAP wheels with run-flats weigh over 500-lbs EACH, that’s more than 3,000-lbs just wheels/tires, plus a full-size spare, so nearly 4,000-lbs of steel & rubber...it really chokes the poor multifuel engine. The FMTV wheels are MUCH lighter and my Deuce is happier with them

No holes in any of my 395s, so I don’t know where that myth is coming from...just a little scrubbing on the tread shoulder, but any responsible driver knows the limits of the vehicle and won’t intentionally hold a tire rubbing on a steering arm

I have an early version of the Waterloo kit on my Deuce. I LOVE it; yes, there is some tire rubbing on the Pitman arm during hard right turns, but nothing I can’t live with. The benefits far outweigh that drawback, especially with 395s on MRAP wheels. If I had to do it all over again I’d go...

Since you live in TX, the sun’s UV is going to be a big consideration...get the 21-oz at a minimum, or else you’ll be replacing it every 2 years or so. Be sure to treat it with protectant every spring; a 50-50 mixture of Boiled Linseed Oil & Mineral Spirits brushed on will not only waterproof...

When I replaced my Deuce front wiring harness several years back, it did include everything for behind the dash and inside the cab....it was everything forward of the cannon plug, and worth every penny.
