Can someone recomend a high tac grease available
in cartriges for greasing king pins, etc.
I am stuck in bed for a bit and would like to order online, so when I recover I can deal with the front end.
Thanks for any help!
Bruce
First the rant.
Why is it that when you call a towing service and ask them to send a flat bed,
the first send over the standard tow truck. I always explain in detail that it has to be
a flat bed because for some reason they can't make the standard tow truck work.
Although I don't realy know why...
I am assuming that the clicking noise is generated by the turn signal flasher, right?
Turn signals work fine but it stopped making the clicking noise. The boss noticed
and I want to make her happy and fix it.
I checked the -20 but it only troubleshoots whether they flash or not.
Thanks!
Spotted this today and thought it might be of interest.

What is the procedure for replacing the rubber in the dogbone
on an M54A2, and how complicated is it? Is it just a matter of
getting a rubber insert and pressing it together. The one I have looks
like it was some sort of hot/liquid process, but maybe that was just the original factory process...
I've been looking in the TMs but I can't seem to identify the part number for the
metal post that separates the vent window from the side window.
Mine is rusting away and I need to replace it. I have all the other channel parts and rubbers, but not that main metal post.
Any help would be...
Has anyone ever hooked up the heater in the s-250 to the 5gal can mounted on the bulkhead just to the left of the door?
The heater has its own fuel pump and there is a fitting on the bulkhead just below the 5gal can so that a hose goes from there to the 5 gal can.
My problem is that I cannot...
Can someone please point to the section in the TM's that discusses how to flush the complete cooling system.
So far all I have encountered is how to drain the radiator. I know from civi trucks that the thermostat will screw things up.
Any tips would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Bruce
I want to change one side of my M54A2 to
a dropside. I have the dropside panel,
but I need to fab up fittings etc. to instal
it after I cut out the fixed side.
What truck has the closest to an M54 with
dropsides? I need to get the TM for that truck so I can study what I need to fab.
Thanks...
I understand how to widen the articles in the forum posts by clicking on the double arrows to the left of the posts at the top, but
I am at a loss as to how to widen the replies I get to my PM's.
Right now I have a reply that is only a single character wide which is a wee bit difficult to read...
Is it necessary or desirable to remove the fan, clutch assm., and shroud, if you
are only going to remove and replace the radiator.
Any tips or suggestions are very welcome.
Thanks,
Bruce
There's a hole in the bucket dear liza....
I have a major leak in my radiator. If you remove the top plastic cover
and look down and to the right half way down just where the fins meet the
edge manafold.(Looks like wrinkled paper) I am supposing it is some kind
crimped connection. At any rate...
Correction*** I am going crazy, but thanks to barrman I am ok
now, problem fixed!
I figure I must be really going crazy. I have all of the TM's on my computer
and I know that on the last computer I had which had the same TM's that
there was wiring diagrams. The typical figure numbers were like...
I can't seem to find the part in the TMs for the switch
that controls the high beams. I know that it's
operation is described in section 2-16 of the -10,
and that it starts at the end of the turn signal lever and
winds down the inside of the
column and then plugs into some other harness.
What I...
I need to instal a Curt 14082 class v hitch, and my understanding is
that if you first remove the rear bumper, it will go on without any mods.
I don't want to start hacking up anything on my M1008 that would compromise
the structure of my pintle hook, since I tow mil trailers as well.
