I figured it was close . I have a odd situation, in that the power goes from the main out to a sub panel and back from the gen on the same wire. I need to insure I can't back feed utility power to the gen That would be a disaster !!! any suggestions would be appreciated Mike...
Wish I had have #4 but I know I could not pull it through a 1 inch conduit. Just have to live with it

Thanks for the info . My wire to the house is about 50 feet of # 6 4 stranded stranded in a 1 inch conduit , it was existing could not change hope it will be ok

Great pics looks like a pro did it . my problem is I have one wire from my house panel to the sub panel at the gen. This is also the feed from gen to the house . I need a fool proof wat to isolate the gen from possible back feed from utility . I'm hoping [ if possible ]to put in an auto...
I have a panel next to the gen thats connected to my house. It's hot al the time unless the power is off I'd like a disconect at the gen also I would like to cover gen cabel outet I'm running 240 volt . There are breakers in the panel to turn off or on gen
