    M1081A1 won’t shut off

Hmm.. M1081A1.. with a C7 engine? The "Christmas lighting" sounds like the weird power issue that the later A1R trucks have that people commonly call the "disco lights".

    A1r 1079 up for auction

Anyone can do it. Ask for "inside sales". The real issue is do they want to deal with you or do their metrics show they make more $$$ sending it to auction.

You have to have a sales tax exemption form on file otherwise they will hit you with tax to cover their end in case you don't file for title and thus skip paying tax.

Wow, did you see what 4 MEP802/803 service kits sold for??

Depends on what they need it for. It may be for resale back to the government so they could have made bank.

    M52A2 Questions

Those trucks have set a looooong time even though the red X's look relatively fresh. Expect them not to run and be a project before they (if they) ever see the road. Time is the enemy here and lack of fluids didn't help the situation.

    A1r 1079 up for auction

They added those upgrades in 07'. Of all the A1R models it seems the 05' ("buyback" A0 upgraded to A1R trucks) are the roughest and WTEC-III, 06' they got the basics down, and 07'+ they standardized all the upgrades. I'm sure the cut of dates between production batches very too.

Behr Paint Jobs- Show me your MV's

Yes, I painted a deuce once that was a full inside and out job. The heat didn't affect it as much as fluid seepage which got under the paint. With the fan constantly blowing and the block surface hot it eventually peeled. Nature of the beast.

What have you done to your MTVR today?

I don't want to spoof my chances of landing another yet.. but it does show: Limited Function Check (DLA Engine) The engine could not be started. Also there was no video to attempt to crank or start it. The one minor gripe I have is I won two trucks same day, location, event, and and...

What have you done to your MTVR today?

Joined the 7 ton club and got my first one in this week. Super clean "non-runner" that needed batteries and fuel to start. It was missing the center instrument cluster but would have started and ran without it. Serpentine belt was for an A/C equipped truck and needs the turret cover...
