    A1r 1079 up for auction

My 1970 M35A2 War Wagon (pics below) has some very suspicious holes around the bed. I tell people they appear to be bullet holes. From the hole sizes, it’s going to be from a .30 caliber round. Next time I go out to the barn I’ll snap some photos.

Colorado Bill SB19-054 RE: (Former) Military Vehicle Motor Vehicle Regulation

So far in Wyoming, my trucks can be registered/titled just like any other truck on the road. I chose to go with Pioneer tags because the only things I do with them is show them off in parades and outdoor displays. I hope and pray all these newcomers to the state mind their own business and leave...

    M35a2 electrical gremlin

I’ve found it to be almost a guarantee that my batteries will go kaput at the 3 1/2 to 4 year mark. It doesn’t seem to matter if they are use extensively or hardly used at all. I use Walmart batteries almost exclusively. I went with more expensive batteries from NAPA one time and they died...

    Are these from a Huey?

The oval panel is from a UH-1’s tail boom. It’s one of three access panels on the belly. The other two items are from the lower center console of a UH-1. There are two map/technical order cases. The lower right one in the picture also has the center lower console electrical cover. The cover...

    Pair of 1968 M36a2

I understand. That’s one of the reasons I’ll probably never move back to CA. Parents left there when I was 3yo and except for a 3 1/2 year tour there in the Marine Corps, I haven’t been back. Best of luck to you, hopefully you can create the truck you want without too much CA poofter.

    Pair of 1968 M36a2

I’ve never been a fan of bobbing but they are your trucks. You get to choose their fate. What other people think is just so much bad sushi. You don’t have them registered? Do you have their titles? That’s going to be tough to overcome. I’m not familiar with California DOT rules but you want to...

Katrina Deuce Story - MUST READ

I was assigned to Air Force Space Command back then. We put together a squadron from geographically separate helicopter units and we went to Columbus AFB MS as our staging base. I went on our first days mission upon arrival and it was overwhelming to see all the destruction. Our missions were...

trying to figure out what usmc unit or where truck was

The Marine Corps doesn’t do much identifying of units. The numbers appear to be the truck’s bureau number or BuNo. Every vehicle, fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft have a BuNo. There’s possibly information on the bumpers. If they’re original, they may have identified the unit. If painted over...

    Split Ring Horror??

From my limited experience, there are a couple times when the split ring can bite. The first is a ring failure during air up. This can be caused by failure to seat the ring properly or maybe failure due to previous damage at some time during its service life. The other possibility is ring bites...

    Body Joint Lead

I won’t be using them for my truck. Lead’s a bit too toxic for me to deal with outside of reloading. I don’t plan on using them for anything except maybe for my black powder musket. My question was to see if these are the lead used for that application, or maybe something else? I know that...

    Walmart Battery size

So Everstart 27’s with 830 CCA will hopefully fit. At least that’s what I’m getting. If it doesn’t work, Walmart allows returns with receipts.

Is the Everstart H6 or H7 correct for the M35A2?
