No, there is not 24 volts fed to the high pressure switch but if the ground circuit is open you will measure 24 volts there. It controls the fan relay which turns the fan on. It is grounded through the fording switch.
I know several people who have used the 1st gen and been happy. Key to good cooling is insulating the cab. A study by NIS showed that the 2nd gen was 16K btu. I have not found info on the 1st gen but would not believe Red Dot specs
Just swap the flywheel housing from the LDT, it is by far the easiest way. And also swap the oil pan and pickup parts. You are not gonna find a 6 speed that is short enough to swap in without major relocation of transfer case.
I have heard / read that the Caiman MRAP aluminum wheels will work on a LMTV. I am skeptical since the LMTV is lug centric and the MRAP is hub centric. Has anyone successfully done this?
