    For starters you may want to check the wiring of K20s relay socket. If that checks out OK you ought to bench test the relay in K20 to see if the appropriate contacts both open and close as they should. Something is weird with the K20 relay that doesn't pop CB1.

    If the voltages are proportionally the same as 120 and 240 and you can't achieve 120 at the outlet with the set running at 60 Hz then it may be the VR or front panel voltage adjust. If the voltages are not proportionally the same then you the set has other issues.

    Somethings not right if you're measuring 140 at the convenience outlet. You ought to take voltage measurements across L1 to L0, L3 to L0 and L1 to L3. You should get 120, 120, 240 respectively.

    I use a Dremel with a cut off wheel to cut the side of the metal collars and then just pry them off. Replace the hose with new, use a gentle bend in the hose and re-attach with some S.S. hose clamps.
