NOPE !! still got her.
I've had to take a break from working on her due to work related issues. Moved up in the company, and had to start traveling all over the country and in fact multiple other countries.
Lucky for me a really good friend of mine has talked me into letting him work on...
Ok...haven't been able to work on the "Pig" since my job sucks, and it takes me all over the country, so I picked up this little toy, threw it in the back of the truck, and am taking it with me to all these jobs I'm going on.
Got the painting done this week, and hopefully putting the knobbie...
I'm running 16/20's on 12" wheels with 6" back spacing. I like the look of having the tires stick out slightly from the front fenders. Also, I haven't lifted the truck any.
I tried to post step by step photo's of my Bob Job if your interested. Check out my thread: work on the war pig...

Sorry....Pig's on hold until I finish up this project. Gotta feed the kids every so...
I've installed a 5.9 into my deuce, and am getting ready to install the transmission. I've had quite a battle trying to match up my 2003 motor to the stock tranny. there are some minor differences with the back of the motor. I've went through several adapter plates that were supposed to mount...
Tell us about your rear axle! Is is a front axle turned around, or did you modify a straight axle?
I'm thinking of doing the 4 wheel steering on the War Pig, so any advise would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
sure your right. It all sounds good. I was just joking with you when Frodo got his panties all in a bunch. Dude's gotta lighten up a little. We all have fun here poking each other a little. no sense in getting all rude when we're just having some fun.
There was a guy on here a while back that installed a Cat 3208, which is a common enough engine to find. I think that would be a great addition to the deuce especially if a turbo, or even twins, were added.
Just to weigh in my 2cents on this wonderfully insightfull and deeply intellectual conversation, I personally do not like the idea of double framing. I know quite a few people here have done this with great success, but my first thought was "If this is the way to go Uncle Sam would have already...
