I dont think I could have gotten my two 1028's thanks jeff. Appreciated the help and the company at dinner. Be sure to tell Katie Im still single...lol :driver:
that would be awesome, I dont want to pay more than i need to but usually I buy from places that let me drive off the lot. Im getting more and more of the 900 series than anything else and flat towing them long distance is a pain so i avoid it if possible. If I break down it would be awesome to...
Quick question, I havent had to buy an apportioned tag in forever and here is my issue. I was wanting to use my old M931 for a pickup vehicle to get my own crap from GL sites in Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, and Arkansas. So i was wanting 6 states for a total weight of around 45000...
I used to own a truck driving school. As far as Tennessee regulation I was able to register mine as a Antique vehicle because they dont have a weight cutoff for antique plates. Its kind of in the grey area of regulation in my state. Even though im very comfortable driving any commercial vehicle...
the sprag type transfer case is less desirable but Memphis Equipment has a kit to make them a bit better but Ive never used one personally. The 5 tons have a sprag that is much better than the one that comes on the M35A2 and nobody seems to have any problems with them. The lit may be something...
yeah ive done a few of mine I usually use Herculiner from Autozone but I have also used Raptor tinted with OD paint. Both work great just depends if you want a grainy finish or not.
if you are having battery cable issues check the crimp. I had one that was brand new but made a crappy connection at the crimp and was screwing everything up
well that would explain allot, that switch was never designed for that much of a load. Probably fried that too. Thanks, you would think with the hack wiring jobs i have seen with CUCV's I would expect some silly wiring changes......
Thanks for the help,
well it was finally my turn with this M35A2 to get the well known deuce mystery no start. Well I was trouble shooting the thing and I CANNOT FIND the magnetic starter relay that is usually right above the starter. Did they put them somewhere other than right on top of the starter on the block...
who cares? I bought it and its parked at my house. Its no more business of people around me what I do with my life as it is for me to look down on them for whatever it is they choose to do.
But seriously nobody in my neck of the woods cares, I think they are curious as to what new strange...
i will tell you because it will happen if you dont watch yourself. Donot use the emergency stop pull to stop the engine like you would in a m35. If you do its not going to start until you reset the lever on top of the injection pump. Read the operators manual completely and download the rest...
never mind sam I found the thread, Good looking trucks. Ive had a few pickups from Melitta and Ive never had any issues but she isnt real big on letting you get them running on the lot.
Have you got any plans on a restoration or are these going to be knock around vehicles.....kinda like mine.
man that thing is just awful...... please send it to my house as i believe i can dispose of it for you
