MEP 803 return fuel line fittings

UPDATE: Did as ya'll suggest, squeezed the crimps together which caused a bulge and used a Dremel with cutoff wheel, took about 2 minutes total to cut all the crimps off, another 3 minutes to twist off all the hoses and deal with the hose crimps, then another 3 minutes to put on new generic 1/4"...

You rock sir!! I don't know if you remember or not, but you helped me fix a frequency relay issue on my other generator about 2 years ago!! You probably help with a lot of problems, much appreciated!!!

    Fuel drain shutoff valve

This is a picture from another generator of the part I NEED, mine is missing the valve part, but I can't find it in TMs and searching anything to do with these generators and fuel tank finds everything to do with the well nut (apparently that is a huge problem child) and I can't find what this...

MEP 803 return fuel line fittings

Hey all, I'm sure someone more smarter than me can find the thread that answers this question because it HAS to have been asked before, but I just couldn't find it!!! My return lines from the injector up to the fuel rail are leaking (as they all do eventually it appears) but mine seem to have...

    MEP-802A Relay Pinout?

Hey all, Thanks to the help of Kloppk and Light in the Dark the problem was identified, Kloppk is sending me a new frequency switch, and he even told me how to temporarily bypass frequency switch function to get it running and we confirmed everything else on the generator starts and runs as it...

    MEP-802A Relay Pinout?

Hey dude, I THINK this is a problem... On mine the left most (S14) is a different housing, but it has all the pins on the bottom of it just like a relay, and tested out just like a relay. So I THINK someone just put a different looking relay in there! Here is a picture I took earlier, not high...

    MEP-802A Relay Pinout?

KloppK, thank you for the reply and time! You are 100% correct I MEANT s14 when I wrote s12, I just updated the original thread. Can you expand a little bit on the S14 being a frequency trip switch? In my unit the S14 is a clear housing device, that looks identical to the 5 relays (not clear...

    MEP-802A Relay Pinout?

Hello all, having a starting issue and I can't figure out why my Cranking Relay (K2) isn't getting any power when trying to operate from the front panel switch (S1). X2 has ground no matter what position S1 is in. X1, A1 and A2 never receiver power, regardless of S1 position (prime/run or...

802a won't run from panel but will from inside

Hey all, it turned out to be the frequency switch! Someone had put a relay in it's place, and not knowing the difference I never suspected. Got a new one on the way!

802a won't run from panel but will from inside

Thank you good sir! I will definitely do exactly as you said! I have quite a bit of electrical/circuit experience so with any luck some general guidance from these documents will put me onto the right components (and their test procedures) to identify the culprit! Thank you much!

802a won't run from panel but will from inside

Hi Guyfang, thanks for taking the time to reply, I feel a bit schooled here, and I definitely know I'm not using the correct terminology, was hoping to get close enough for those of you that know whats going on to understand, while I begin learning more about these units! I have operated them...

802a won't run from panel but will from inside

Hey all, I've recently received an 802a and it won't release the fuel stop solenoid or attempt to crank from the front panel. If I put the switch on either prime position it runs the corresponding fuel pump. If I try to start it nothing happens. Enabling/disabling battle short makes no...

1078 LMTV air brakes COMPLETELY inoperative

If this is the case, what can/should we do to prevent it from happening again? I obviously don't know much about these brake systems, is this something we can service/lubricate/adjust or does it need to go to a heavy truck shop to address this?

1078 LMTV air brakes COMPLETELY inoperative

Wanted to update everyone, since this issue two days ago occurred in 20-30 degree weather we haven't touched the truck, now that it has warmed up to 45ish degrees we decided to go out and start working on it, and low and behold everything is working perfectly fine. Service brakes work fine...
