Bump... I remember seeing someone post a video about how to disassemble the metering pumps on these sets. Can anyone provide that link here?
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Did you ever try this?Quarter... try this. Get the machine priming and push in the fault light so everything is lit up... start cranking while holding this. Do not let go of the fault lights, if it starts to run, while still holding the fault lights, flip the battle short up (and let go of the fault light button). What happens?
Yes I changed the main fuel filter. Its not full. You can hear it. Its pumping air, or a little fuel, and air.
Yes, no luckDid you ever try this?
I think light in the dark gave you my number. If you want me to look at your unit just give me a call. I'm only a couple of hours from you. I've refurbished hundreds of these and can fix it for you.First I’m changing the fuel lines before & after the pump
Yes thank youThanks for the followup and the assistance Jimmy.
That's saying something.Indeed. Never saw a hard line plug up.
my thoughts also. Normally can never happen, with all the filtering. Although, if someone had lines off, and crap got into the lines, PAST the filters, could happen.Curious... What kind of junk was in the hard line? Was someone in the past running it with bad/missing filters, or did the hardline corrode itself shut?
What’s it saying??That's saying something.
