Bump... I remember seeing someone post a video about how to disassemble the metering pumps on these sets. Can anyone provide that link here?

Quarter... try this. Get the machine priming and push in the fault light so everything is lit up... start cranking while holding this. Do not let go of the fault lights, if it starts to run, while still holding the fault lights, flip the battle short up (and let go of the fault light button). What happens?
Did you ever try this?

Until this machine, I have not heard of (or seen) the rigid line being completely blocked on these sets. First for everything I suppose.

Curious... What kind of junk was in the hard line? Was someone in the past running it with bad/missing filters, or did the hardline corrode itself shut?
my thoughts also. Normally can never happen, with all the filtering. Although, if someone had lines off, and crap got into the lines, PAST the filters, could happen.

Guyfang has been on/in/around military gensets longer than some eastern european countries have been autonomous.... and if he hadn't seen that failure, its more than uncommon.

Still don't know what happen. I'm going to cut the line this weekend, in half to see. I tried to blow 120 psi compressed air in the fitting of the return line and could not get air to bypass. I tried each of the rubber hoses that go to the metering pumps and could only get 2 hoses to blow air. Very weird to me. I replaced the filters again and they both looked fine. I ran it for 2 days at 10kw and it has performed great.

So out of curiosity, was the hard line plugged near the Banjo fitting and no fuel is passing to the metering pumps? Or are you saying the tube is clogged near the far end and the fuel can not reach the bypass that goes up to the injector returns? If you are only talking about the bypass to the injectors, I've seen several that were blocked off, but not with junk, they appeared to be blocked from the manufacturing process, possibly with brazing or something as I had to drill a tiny hole through the end. Not sure if it is supposed to be sealed off by design or not.
