I know Gimp is a flatlander... not having a powered crane rotator.

Actually I have looked into power rotate. Currently I use a come-a-long to pull the boom over the bed if needed. I found a video of a guy that uses a horrible freight winch sideways to have controlled power rotate cheaply. He even hooked up a secondary gear box so it would spin slower.

I suck, because I went a few pages back and can't see where you said you are mounting this to. Are you bolting it to the cargo bed floor?

It will go on the drivers side in the back corner , the pedestal will go through the bed to the new frame work

Well this weekend was a bust after torching out the the old crane truck I found out the main beams were only 4x6 1/4 inch so ordering new steel in the morning tried to save a few hundred , but just lost time and gas, but Tommorow is another day

Ok lots of welding and and backawards hydro lines she is almost ready next weekend will be installing new pump on truck oh and a vid my friend made I'm not much for music ones but he did a great job combining pictures
