Not OK...I will try to explain it in non-technical terms..(mainly because I don't know them, but know why you need a slip joint <the Army felt it was so needed they even made a real short one just for the M35A3>)This leaving only one flanged yoke, u joint, and flange bolted to the transfer case input shaft.
This is great if you all think that will be ok with out any kind of slip shaft in between tranny and transfer case.
