I'm wondering about the hardtop enclosure on the back of that deuce in the second picture of the last set. It looks like an ERDLATOR back but it appears to be sitting right in the truck's bed. The tailgate is down too.
.
I wondered if maybe it was a home grown shelter to be used as a "tool wagon" for the maintenance group...

I've never seen a bridge truck carrying a boat! Or is that even a bridge truck? I thought they were XLWB.
On a nearby military base, 15-20 years ago, I saw an entire regiment/battalion/not sure of pontoon carrying trucks. There was two (maybe more) trucks with boats on board. My memory is extremely fuzzy about the details but with the amount of equipment, I’d guess they could put a bridge across the Columbia River.

Interesting and cool pictures. Thanks for posting!

Looks like the last m416 trailer has a hard top enclosure. Does anyone have information on those?
These were all, "hand made" as far as I remember. Every unit built them as they saw fit. We had 3 of our 5, M146 trailers moded that way. And all were a bit different from one another. Lots of good shots of the 3/52 ADA Hawk unit. Where did you get the pictures.
