Huh? How much are they? I didn't know they exist but i'm interested. Heck, the standard sealed beams cost enough. I found a great deal a few years back at $10.00 each. I bought 10 of them!

Well, I found the info in one of those MVPA PIPE LINE magazines. They dont have a web site, but they show a ph# 423-272-0690 and email;westernresource@aol.com its on page 48 of November 2004 issue. I ordered a catalog, but if you find out what the deals is, post it.

The H4 bulb is the replaceable halogen bulb. Available at any auto parts store, Wal-Mart, etc. (12V only) The 24v versions will need to be ordered, or should be available from truck parts retailers. You could wire the lights in series and use 12V bulbs as an option. Have you checked the size of the standard Jeep Wrangler headlight? Hella makes a 2 piece (bulb and housing) headlight replacement for them. The 24V H4 bulbs could be sourced seperately. The $110 price tag doesn't sound too bad to me considering that the housings are not consumption items, just replace bulbs ($6 - $15 /pr.) The Jeep headlight replacements I have seen start under that price and go a little above it.

Watch wiring the headlamps in series, if one goes the other should too and then you have nothing. I was working on this problem for my M715. I thought I'd get a set of Halogens in 24V and just resolder the mil wire connectors on, but the only thing my Sylvania catalog lists in a 3 terminal sealed beam is an aircraft landing lamp that is a clear, unfocused lens that would blind the crap out of everyone. Still checking on a few other leads on 24V halogens though. If I find anything that will work I'll post it up.

Any 7", preferably the E-Code Hella,Cibie,Marchal etc. housings will fit. The only special part is the 24V H4 bulbs, and I found mine cheap on ebay. I used cheap no-name E-Codes @ $15.00 a pair on my M35 and spent $28.00 for 4 24V Hella H4 bulbs.

Yeah, I've known about the H4 style for a while, but I'm trying to come up with a stock style sealed beam, but in halogen. Should be a lot cheaper too if they're out there.
