Have any of you guys changed your head lights to the brighter 24v. Halogen ?
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Any 7", preferably the E-Code Hella,Cibie,Marchal etc. housings will fit. The only special part is the 24V H4 bulbs, and I found mine cheap on ebay. I used cheap no-name E-Codes @ $15.00 a pair on my M35 and spent $28.00 for 4 24V Hella H4 bulbs.Originally posted by Elwenil
Watch wiring the headlamps in series, if one goes the other should too and then you have nothing. I was working on this problem for my M715. I thought I'd get a set of Halogens in 24V and just resolder the mil wire connectors on, but the only thing my Sylvania catalog lists in a 3 terminal sealed beam is an aircraft landing lamp that is a clear, unfocused lens that would blind the crap out of everyone. Still checking on a few other leads on 24V halogens though. If I find anything that will work I'll post it up.
