I'd like to address two of your comments, if I may. Most of us are not here to scare off the Newbies. Being inquisitive is fine, demanding or expecting instant gratification with an answer is not. I like to try and answer a question, and then direct the individual to the source, usually a TM. I don't care for folks that want others to do the answer searching, and by not looking for the information themselves, have learned nothing. I agree the TM's are not the easiest documents to find answers in, but spend a little time with them and people can become very proficient. If folks are going to be in this hobby and operate this equipment, why would somebody not want to have the information at their fingertips?
My second point, it's the exception, and not the rule, that your question on your M116 fell between the cracks. I and others usually have no problem providing measurements, photos, and other information about our equipment. I have grabbed my camera, walked out to the shop to take a photo or two for a Member needing a visual to solve a problem, several times.
