Orings or shaft can leak fuel into the oil.

Take the shut-off cover off, turn on the ignition switch(in-tank pump on) and look in and see if you see fuel leaking.


FDC can leak too. Bypass it.

The HH o-rings and fuel control rod o-ring are a common culprit for oil contamination. Those and the fdc. If you have a fdc.

Ok let me go check that.

The FDC has been bypassed by the military. Well that's what the sticker says.

Just to double check myself. The cover is the one below the HH sorta football shaped right?

Can one of you guys call maybe? I feel like I can't explain what's happened like this and it would help me out tremendously for some one knowledgeable (like one of y'all) to maybe help me understand how I messed my Bobber up.
