So you don't think GP should have their costs covered because you want to break your contract ? They have costs involved in dealing with the sale and paperwork to the government ( which is where the delays are ) and every time you call complaining increases their costs as you are further delaying them from doing their job , and it is all spelled out in the contract ( if you would read the entire thing). It looks like this is your 1st time buying a EUC controlled item , and you were counting on a quick flip so you can make your profit . It also looks like you joined SS just to complain about GP ,as if you would have read this thread before you bought from GP you would have known about the delays. Since you say someone else is the name on the EUC maybe they should be the one dealing with GP and posting here.
Maybe you should assume less "would look smarter when passing judgement" and put yourself in the buyers seat. The only part you got right is that it is my first time buying with a EUC, and was looking forward to working on it and recondition it as they are pretty cool units. Actually I joined because I thought I was alone out there having these issues and other sites didn't attract me as much because there seemed to be more knowledgeable people on this site. I did find out there are others having the same issues. For the time being I have all my eggs with JWade and hope he will pull it off. And yes, had I known it would have taken this long we would have never bid on them but I also assumed things like 30 to 60 days for approval which turns out is not the case.

Jwade I won item number 718607. I called and requested more pictures and I was asked to fill out an application. I have followed up a few times and I am now being told they are having difficulty getting in contact with the inspector. Would you be willing to help me out? Thank you

Well lets look at some facts here from post #921.
1. Your in canada and have someone else applying for the EUC. ( This could be considered a shill buyer)
2. You are equipment buyers/sellers and deal in foreign countries.
3.It's not as you put it "just a off-road vehicle" , it is a DOD controlled tactical vehicle.

Now a couple things about #951.
1. This is the only thread you have posted in since joining , not even a introduction in the "requirements for new members fourm" .
2. All of your posts have been bashing GP.
3. If you had done a little research on EUC's from post's when Government Liquidation had the contract it was well advised to buy a trailer or some other low priced EUC item to see if you can pass the EUC and have a lower default fee if you don't pass. You would have also seen it is not only a problem at GP but GL at one point had wait times close to a year. The same office in Battle Creek is also doing EUC's for GL as they still sell non-rolling stock that requires them.

JWADE has stuck around and helped a lot of members , back when GL had the contract there were at different times GL reps on SS that ALL left after a short time because they got tired of the complaining about things they have no control over.

Mine was sent on 4/19 as well & still waiting.

I do know someone that sent a EUC in after me and got approved in 20 days. His first with Gov. Planet.
How does that happen?

I have had many previous EUC's with Gov LIq.

Does that make a difference?
It can yes as long as we can find the information in the DLA database, which has been hit or miss at times. Depending on the timeframe since the last one as well. PM me your item number.

Jwade - you said in your last post " ...as long as we can find your information in the DLA Database..."

I was under the impression our EUC Fate was in the hands of those at TSC (Trade Security Controls) and Gov Planet had nothing to do with the EUC after they submitted it? Does Gov Planet in fact have access and check the DLA (Defense Logistics Agency) Database before submitting EUC's and this information is submitted with an EUC to help TSC approve EUC's faster when Gov Planet has proof of a previous approval through the TSC?

Again, we all here appreciate you're support and quick responses to this thread here on Steel Soldiers. I also thank you for your patience with those members, including myself, that are bogged down in the process of acquiring our trucks after we have already paid up front and done our part in a timely manner.

We have to print off certain information that accompanies the EUC up to the TSC. So we have limited access to part of the database, but it is not always the most user friendly program when it comes to finding information. Every DLA buyer is assigned a specific number.

Six months and counting.
Back in May I posted the below. Jwade reached out, which I very much appreciated, and informed me that this truck needed a radiological survey before they would even start on the EUC and said survey hadn't even begun to be scheduled! He added that due to the delay and lack of progress I could contact Kyle in customer service for a refund.
Well, I started phoning and Kyle is always gone or in a meeting and emailing customer service but still haven't received any response.
A couple PMs to Jwade since haven't gotten any response either.
I get it that these guys are really busy and one truck (or dollar value of one truck, or customer) either way doesn't matter much for them but I was really hoping that if I just waited one more week I could offer up a relieved review that it all came out fine in the end.

Good luck out there and buyer beware.

Not to complain or brag but I do have some buyer's remorse because I bought a M109A3 back in early December 2015 and am still waiting on my EUC.
I'd like to point out that it only took a bit over a month to get a permit from the BATF to import tracked armor.

Yes, some of it my fault as the first time around I checked an extra box and failed to capitalize the name of my birth county and then was asked to mail it in rather than send a scan but this has gotten silly.
When I got emails suggesting my warranty had expired as had my free storage. I called the office and was reassured that was not the case but it was an automated email and that the status of my online status would be updated eventually.

So, several months later I'm sitting here waiting. I just wonder how much air my tires are loosing, things leaking, etc. and of course it's hard not to think about how much fuel prices have risen and of course driving across TX in summer...
