Dear ACKARUS:
Looks like you have a Jeep Corp truck by its Identification Number 4K56471, just a bit younger then my 1971 Kaiser Jeep M35A2 ID No.04J43671, NSN#2320-00-077-1616; ID No. 04J-43671-0525-22392; Contract No.: DAAE-06-70c-0001. The Jeep Corp trucks were a continuation of the Kaiser Jeep contract, which itself was a continuation of the Studebaker Corporation Contracts, and if David Doyle or Medlog tells you you have a Jeep, that's what gets put on the registration for its builder-NOT AM GENERAL!!! If you mess up the registration of the vehicle now it can cause grief in the future for other owners at a later date.
In any case, enjoy the history that's sitting out in your driveway, yard or wherever, because there isn't going to be anymore made like these ones.....
Regards,
Kyle F. McGrogan
