M-series flasher relay - civvy conversion how-to

Well here it is. After I dug into it, it will be hard to get the EG22 to fit into the housing without a mill. I guess you could do it with a file or Drimmel, but you have to remove some aluminum to get it to fit. I kind of butchered this one doing some exploratory milling. I may make another one now that I know how everything is laid out, but this one will work for the time being. From the outside you can’t tell the difference.

I think I’m going to “pot” the flasher in with either some silicone or hot glue, just so it isn’t flopping around in there and risk the chance of the terminals contacting the housing. I figure either will be easy enough to remove if I have to change flashers. I won’t pot the whole cavity, just on the sides of the flasher unit to keep it steady.
