Looks good! Sounds like it's time to send the old lady out for a second job to support your project in the fashion it deserves...

(I got that advice and a wink in the eye from some old drag racers once upon a time...)

Finally got some time today and got the 10 ton up on some jack stand's and got the wheel's and tire's off. Time to go through it for inspection and maintenance and then on to paint. Going to be pulling the fender's, hood, bumper and radiator etc. I have a new exhaust brake to install which requires installing heavier valve spring's on the exhaust valve's. I may be lifting the cab off as well...not sure yet.

How far into the engine do you plan to go?
Yes sir, I will be installing an engine air brake that I picked up NOS still in the box for $250.00!! It help's out alot when shifting gear's while driving as it slows down the RPM's much faster so you can grab the next gear while shifting. You have to install heavier double valve spring's on the exhaust valve's so the valve will not float due to the excessive exhaust back pressure created which could result in breaking a valve. I will also have the injector's rebuilt while I'm in there with the valve cover's off.

When I looked at Jumbo, Bruce Kubu's restored M125, I was amazed at the size. David, when you get the cab out, take pics of the steering box. My memory is faint but it looked like the size of a small block chevy.

Made the lift yesterday.... and yes like past project's this one is no different leading to more than expected. Only difference with the truck is that I don't have 6 other's keeping me distracted so I can focus on 1 truck. Cab need's some metal and fab work, engine will have to come out to replace rear main seal and may as well do the clutch while I'm there....
