Thinking about converting to spin on strainer and filters. Are one strainer and filter enough? I am running with only one fuel pump. Will the new filter(s) constrict the fuel flow more than the old version?
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Thanks!Yes, 1ea. is plenty. Using good quality fuel means filters last a long time. Most folks use 2 different micron rated filters, it's not really a strainer, more of a coarse filter and fine filter.
Your 1 pump will be fine. The normal dual pump setup is for redundance, it doesn't really increase flow or pressure at all. Fuel consumption is so low that there is no need to worry about flow or restriction AT ALL!.

What size aluminum stock did you use for the mounting plate? Nice setup, I plan on doing the same thing!I did one separator, and one filter on an 002 I am sitting on now.

I got the piece from McMaster Carr. I remember specifying 1/4" thick, but I can put a measuring tape on the unit later.
