Mep-003 won't continue to produce power

We need you to "verify the actual wire #" that is printed on the insulation of the white wire that was moved and extended.

Ok, at least the right wire was used. I would insulate the nut/screw with electrical tape or the liquid electrical tape black goo. With vibration over time, that bare screw/nut/terminal band-aid could eventually chafe other wires and cause a short.

I sent the VR to him to get tested. It tested fine. before removing it i tried disconnecting #17 on the vr. it would produce high voltage with the start switch released. going to test the cvt1 next
