When running with S5 in the center position S5-5sshould have 24 volts on it. When you lift S5 S5-5 should go to 0 volts.
Seems that's what you have working now.

With the set running and you lift and HOLD S5 UP does the Contactor lamp illuminate?
Does it stay illuminated when you release it?

it does not light up. Contactor does not illuminate. it does on push to test. Just tested S5 per TM and it is good.

It's working. Probably J6 connectivity issue. One other issue. Amp meter shows discharge instead of charge. Alternator checks good. 28 volts. Battery's are charging at 14 volts. Thoughts?
