I would appreciate a list of what people want to bring(food/supplies) to make it easier on our hosts. Condiments are taken care of. Burgers for Friday are partially provided for (scott is bringing some, but mo is bettal, breakfast foods for saturday ie pancakes and simple things (to make it easier on the host) would also be appreciated..Donuts, etc. Dinner is covered for Saturday. We are in need of... 'plates, forks, knives, spoons, napkins, chips or the like' . I/we appreciate your assistance in making this first year easier for Ed and Danielle.

Sorry I missed this. Haven't been very diligent on the forum lately. H&H on the menu. Hamburgers and Hotdogs. Ended up with about 35-40 people and around 15 vehicles, including a trailered PBR. Got Grand Champion of the parade and best military unit.

Short notice, but there's a Vietnam Veteran Car Show in Bellingham on Sunday (the 23rd).

I had my deuce at another classic car show this past Sat, in Lynden, when I was handed a flyer for this coming show. It's not an MV event, and after e-mailing the coordinator it looks like mine is the only MV vehicle that's gonna be there so I thought I'd post this up on the off change anyone else would be interested in showing up.

I went to the Lynden show on a whim, having found out about it the day before and figured, hey, my truck is old enough to be a classic. I contacted that coordinator because after all, it's a little bigger than most cars and they set aside space for me. Figured that maybe a few curious people would stop by but instead it was almost non-stop people checking out the truck for hours. Kids loved it because it was a big truck and with all the other cars being "no touch", I'm sure they enjoyed climbing on mine and/or sitting in the cab.

Spent time speaking to several people about the hobby and this is why I'm posting here. I'm relatively new to this hobby and happy to share what I know, but I'm sure others would also be welcome.

Date: Jul 23
Time: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Cost: display cars $15
spectators are free This is a fund raiser; all money goes to Whatcom County Veterans Location:

Thought I'd throw this out there...

On Monday 9/4 I'm heading from Bellingham to Yakima area, and back on Tues. If anyone needs anything transported to Yakima or picked up there/back, I have approximately 8' x 8' of truck space available. On the return trip, I'll have about half that.

Ahab, sorry I missed this. Too many things going on. It was the usual, hamburgers and hotdogs and all the stuff. Some people brought things as well. Don't think anyone went away hungry. We had about 15 vehicles in the parade including the last Navy PBR and took Grand Champion of the parade.

Yes Twin jets with Detroits pushing them. We think they will do about 32 knots. Depends on size of crew. Normal compliment is four. Boat number two is coming along. Interior of hull is painted and they are working on wiring and cables before engine and pump installation. By this time next year, should have two boats in the water.

Montaillou,
Thank for throwing this out there for the dry side folks. Nothing for me, unless you can straight jacket -srodocker- and drop him off for a visit.

I am 100% down with creating or help to create a NW Regional Chapter. I'm located in a small town outside of Yelm, town is called Roy, Wa. Let's put our heads together and see what we can come up with.
I live on a large 10acre parcel with plenty of room for parking the "Big Toys".. so let's see what we can put together and get rolling.

So I'm sure you know "Brad" . I've bought a lot of stuff from him. My brother also lives there in Yelm. So I'm in for a get-together.
