All,
Here's a warning order for LTC Frankenhauser's Funeral (ARMYMAN30YearsPlus). This information is based upon the latest info from the family. I am asking Chris/Mangus to put this as a sticky so it doesn't get lost in the threads.
1. David will return to the US on Wednesday around 1500 hrs. The funeral home will pick him up at the airport and civilians will not be allowed at the location.
2. Viewing is at Ruck Funeral Home in Towson, MD on Thurday 15 Jan and Friday 16 Jan from 1400-1600 and 1800-2000. Location of Ruck FH is

4. The distance from funeral home to cemetary is 15 miles. Please ensure your vehicles have fuel and are capable of making this distance. We will work out recovery services on Wednesday night. Police escort is also still being worked.
5. After the graveside services we will proceed to the Greater Grace World Outreach for a memorial service and refreshments. Location for the GGWO is:

6. Weather will be mostly sunny and cold with a high of 32 degrees. Last precip will be on Thursday evening so we should have dry roads. Thursday and Friday will be below freezing for the high so any precip on the road will most likely freeze quickly. Be prepared for the cold at graveside with head/ear covering and gloves in addition to coats.

7. We are working on locating a staging area for all the vehicles near the funeral home. They are expecting over 400 attendees so we may have limited space but the family has stated the Steel Soldiers group is important. Expect further info on Wedesday night.
8. If you have any concerns about lodging, fuel, or other support be pm me and we'll see what is in the area.
9. If you are planning to attend, please try to be on line Wednesday at 2000 hrs (8 pm) in the motorpool chat room. This room is different than the normal PX chat room used. Please, only people going to the service enter this chat. Plan is to finalize our participation, support services, actions at various events.
10. To minimize the impact to the family and reduce rumors and conflicting information, we ask all SS members funnel questions through either ATANKERSDAD or me for resolution.
11. We need maximum participation to honor one this GREAT MAN.
Thanks to all,
CARNAC
