Those shocks at Eastern are only half of what you need....there part numbers are lowers only but pic is of an upper.
Upper tube has sticker only
Upper and lower cylinder are different length.
Lower tube slides into upper tube.

Got these from Eastern and they're a little rough. I don't know if they will work but I will give them a shot. These were $50 plus shipping

So.... Whats the trick to getting the shock to stay depressed long enough to get it bolted in.
You don’t compress them, you remove the limiting ropes, attach each lift shock to either top or bottom ball, insert retainer clip, open the hatch to the point it’s standing straight up, insert other end into ball, install clip and your done.

Sure would help to have another set of hands. But I'm solo, so I guess I will have to use a rope to tie the roof in a vertical position if I can get it that high in a RELATIVELY safe manner

Back up against a tree and open it "rumble seat" style.
