Not in TN. I have my class A CDL but it's not required for a air-brake truck up to 80K if it's tagged for farm use and is operated within 150 miles of the farm.Even if you don't have to have a CDL, you have to have an air brake endorsement to run a vehicle with air brakes. I have a non-CDL but had to get an air brake endorsement to legally drive my MV - This poster showed us why.

Hey driverman, Isn't Michigan the land of trucks with multiple axels and tires running the whole length of the trucks,trailers? I would have thought they must have the most restrictive laws in the country. Glad you made it home safely.
