I hope your going to re-spool up your cable in nice neat rows from left to right. Pulling like that makes them fray. It takes a lot of tension to do it right....can be 2-3 person job. I have a couple of frayed spots in my boomtruck winch cablee from pulling overlapped cables.
Toby I agree. I did this job for the first time by myself and it was a handful. The only training I had was a couple of You-Tube videos, and they had at least one helper. When I spooled the cable it stayed pretty tight until I reached the pole that I used as an anchor. When I uncoupled the cable from the pole the last couple of winds came loose. I look to re-spool the cable when I return from the MVCC gathering in Petaluma this April, and I hope to get a couple of volunteers to help.

Did a lot with my Deuce the last 2 weeks & put a hair over 700mi on it. So...here we go.

First. Our club, AMVCC, PARTICIPATED in what could be called a "mock zombie bugout" for corporate members of the Canadian National (railway). We picked them up & convoyed the to the nearby airport, along with their armed (blanks) escorts. It was at & after sunset so pictures are dark.

Second. Attended the Falcon Air Show with members of our club & one of the other clubs, plus the Commemorative Air Force, & a classic car show. I only have 4 photos to share right now as I haven't pulled the others off my GoPro yet, but I'll add more soon. As you can see, the excitement was too much for some in our group. LOL! <br>

Third. Since I had the day off, I drove my Deuce to work & transported my team to lunch at the local AppleBee' s. This was their first time seeing or riding in a Deuce & they all had a blast.

G'day everyone,....
Or freak them out as you come rolling through the 'Drive Through',....
rofl
Aussie.
I've thought about that, but most drive throughs here either have tight turns at one end or the other or a low roof outside to shade the window clerk. Either way, I'd probably do some unintended building modifications. LOL!

On a similar note though, an Aussie Burger from Hungry Jack's sure sounds good right now!

doing my hoses and installing a new (not smashed by the hood and soldered up radiator) and don't think the green stuff was doing it's job by the crusty goodness of the distribution pipe nipples. also suggest the little scaffolding unit from lowes or depot for handy access

Make sure you clean up the aluminum pipes real good and use a good aluminum paint on them. Otherwise the corrosion will continue and in short order you will have several leaks appearing ! I know, been there bought the "T" shirt .
