Installed the low air pressure warning light that I have had on the shelf for some 5 years. Now I have a bright red light to accompany the noisy buzzer. Not sure why the generator light is in the yellow...was in the green when I came home.

This morning I was looking for cool M35 videos on youtube...because work is dead.
I found this cool video of a 465LDT running with only one head installed. I have seen other videos of other engines doing this...but this is the first time seeing one of our engines.
It's pretty wild to see the front 3 pistons doing their thing. Enjoy!
That is a guy from the Far East somewhere, has a bunch of green gold and is always tinkering with and rebuilding deuce engines. I've talked to him on the FB deuce group.

I needed to fabricate brackets for the armoured double headlights I recently converted to all LED. While the single lights are ok to mount, there simply is not a good spot for the big, heavy double lights.
After doing what the signature of one of the members here suggests ("every repair job starts with staring at it like an imbecile") I decided on a mounting location.

I used a 12x12 in sheet of 1/4in steel to fab the brackets. Mind you, I am not a fabricator. I can barely weld. I have an angle grinder, a wimpy 110V stick welder with 5/64 electrodes and a drill press, that is about it.

In the process I learned that the two sides of the winch look symmetrical but are not. More fabbing!

Here are the brackets mounted:

I love the look...very sharp! The lights are not adjusted and not mounted; just sitting on the brackets. They are just above the bumper and do not obstruct the headlights.

Now I have some wiring to do....but that is for another day.

If you’ve ever watched the movie Lawless, or spotted the covered bridge where they captured Lydia in the walking dead, welcome to my stomping grounds! Right down the road

Chief, when you get the spin on oil filter conversion done, do the spin on primary and secondary fuel filter conversion.
I saw that. I forget which website. It is mighty fancy. Not sure my deuces would know what to do with flashy stuff like that on it...

Installed a Bendix AD9 air dryer on my deuce. Had the braided stainless steel lines left over from another project and they happened to be the right size and length. I'm still waiting on some DOT airline to hook up the purge valve, and a 24V heating element.
