If you want a 105 try Memphis Equipment because I traded My 105 for a 101a2 and enjoy it but now I have to get my truck back from the transmission shop first.

We made it in one trip. 7920 lbs in the 5 ton and 3720 in the pickup and 1101. Probably overloaded the pickup, but that stuff comes out of those loaders fast. Like an avalanche. It sticks together.

I feed the deer. Not pen raised deer, just wild free range deer. Cottonseed is high in fiber fat and protein. About 20% on each.

If it gave me the muscles and made me as “hornie” as that deer above, I’d put up with the cotton-mouth it gives you to eat it! I already lost hair where I want it and grew it where it shouldn’t be so, loosing more isn’t any biggie for me.

BTW we hunted that deer all season, I finally got him last day, half hour before sunset. He doesn’t look it in the pictures so, I was shocked when he taped out at 178 1/8”. 25” spread, 25” beams, lots of 5+” mass. He had it all.

Ok ok back to trailers. I hauled that cottonseed on a dump trailer I made off a trailer frame for a Water Buffalo. I use the tank for watering out here when the drought hits (seems like every year) and the trailer was perfect for a 3 1/2 yard gravel dump trailer (about 12k lbs).

The deer have caused so much damage here. It's illegal to feed them here (salt block or food) and then hunt them. It shouldn't be...they are pests.

Every state has different laws for their own reasons. Some scientifically motivated, some political, most are a mix.

Yep. We should be killing a lot more than we are allowed to, here.
Here too ! To me, deer are nothing but long legged rats ! They destroy my fruit trees and garden. When I was at the check-out the other day, this woman said "aren't those deer just wonderful to have around" ! I said "Yes, they taste really good !" . Talk about getting the stink-eye ! You would have thought I had said "lets go and kill some kindergartners and eat them" .
Really these people around here don't have a clue ! If you allow the deer to overpopulate they get weak and sick. They just don't seem to understand that basic concept. Now if someone sees a mountain lion they all freak out and call animal control.
They just cannot make the connection to having an overabundance of deer and mountains lions. Stupid people !

I flipped the lunette on my GETT generator trailer. It's essentially an M1102.

Less than an hour start to finish. A slot has to be cut so that the top and bottom are the same. 4 1/2" grinder with a cutoff wheel and a grinding wheel. Now I can flip the lunette to be level behind either the M925 on 16's or the hmmwv.

Thanks due to Buffalobwana for sharing his knowledge.

Thanks, but you already had it figured out. If not, you definitely would have within a minute.

It was your idea. Take credit for it!

But, thanks. Glad to finally be able to return the favor.

The slot he’s talking about is the end of the lunette where it engages the brake.

A notch needs to be cut on the bottom, so it matches the top. 98G’s idea was to pull the main pin, flip the hitch and reinstall the pin. Brilliant!

How hard was it to get the pin to go back in the shock absorber?

It took literally a minute or two using a tapered punch. I like the idea of using a pin with a handle and hairpin type retainer for ease of flipping it frequently. I'll probably implement this next time I am at tractor supply.
