Ok, the larger sender pointing up is the gauge sensor, the smaller sensor lower, aft inboard on the same oil manifold, looks like the 15 psi oil sw that controls the oil light, alt energize and starter lockout…

what year is your truck?

what year is your truck?
Truck year is '04. Engine plate is '99

So that psi switch is set to 15? That's good then since it's not dropping out at idle.

I would assume pressure switches are more robust than pressure transducers.

I see now on the schematic line 37 that wire 34a feeds the idiot light.

yea if your oil light isn't coming on and the alt isn't dropping of line that sw is not closing. How close it is to a 15PSI activation point and its amount of hysteresis is another story, you would have t take it off and connect it to a regulator and yet another gauge to map its response. could also check that mechanical gauge response...

My alt is the delco pad mount so it doesn't have the "energize" wire. I think it's 1200rpm auto on
