Assel love the paint, wonder what it would like with camo theme carried over on to grill, brushguard and bumper.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!

I don't see anything wrong with it either:I don't see anything wrong with that paint job. But that's just me.
Looks much better than my 2 red 1009s,someday at least one will be camoed again..I don't see anything wrong with it either:
- It might not be standard mil-spec or anything, but nobody's "keeping score", right!?
- It looks great.
Red is OK, too; it speaks to the heritage.Looks much better than my 2 red 1009s,someday at least one will be camoed again..
So both of those are in "working" red, snd:Yes both ex fire dept. One from Ohio DNR,one from Iowa DNR.
Maybe your presence alone is helping keep everyone around you honest, who knows!?Sometimes working red with all the white reflective taping works to well.A few summers ago a migrant family thought I was on a fire call or something, they pulled over on a state route to let me get around them. And whenever I go to local hunting and fishing preserve everyone thinks Im a game warden or Ranger Rick type person.
Thank you! Been lurking around for a few years, thought I'd contribute for a change.Hey mperry you look kind of new around here, so from here in Virginia:
- Welcome
My two cents says don't change the color:Mine is "Working Red" also, I really don't care for it that way.
Apparently Working Red has a Stealth Coating and it hides 3 tons of
ancient Chevy truck from other drivers. I can't tell you how many
times someone looks me in the eye and continues to pull out in front
of me. I hope next year I can at least paint it green before someone
hits it.
I love the Smoky the Bear stickers on back window.Red is OK, too; it speaks to the heritage.
Probably recycled from military service as fire department vehicles, right?
That's a hoot! I missed that detail.http://youtu.be/Cx-JvBK-Y88 I love the Smoky the Bear stickers on back window.
We're holding you to it:New air filter. A GA rally deal. Grinded down then painted up some tow hooks and cleaned rust off and painted the pins for them too. Gotta buy some chain and retaining pins, paint them, install them, then pics will be posted.
Define brake line??? Everyone of them is still available or you just make your own metal ones. I am willing to help. What brake line is it you are referring to?Blew a brake line. Having a **** of a time finding a replacement
