Juan, here is a picture of the inside of a 45"bar. It's not the best photo, but may give you the insight needed. I'm not seeing mechanization for movement/direction of lights. I think the control boxes are a bit more difficult to come by.

Very nice rig thtrev. It seems like a noble use for the truck and I'm sure the kids are something more than proud to be on a campout with such a cool troop vehicle. My truck was basically a personal toy to haul stuff around home and cruise with my kids, so I certainly can't comment on the choice...

tnmogger did this too. Stock tank notched around spring hanger. Hope Bob doesn't mind me posting and giving credit. I had a snapshot saved for my personal notes.

There's a guy with some M37 parts trucks up north of Athens. It's right along I-65 on the west side. It's not exclusively a MV place, but there's obviously interest there. I would guess there are some goodies stored out of sight too.

I bought one of these flexible task lights from a vendor here. It has a strong spring clamp for a mount. I just have it clamped to the panel above the windshield. It is wired up with the roof marking lights, so it comes on whenever it's dark enough to have the lights on. It has a focus...

I've not had any I've sold returned as DOA. I'd advise checking grounds and signal wire connections. Are you also sure you have "keyed" power hooked up right? Either way, I've got a replacement unit headed your way. I wanted to make sure you've got a good one in hands when you dive back into...

FYI, improper shim thickness (too thick) can also cause excessive heat. Ask me how I know... I quickly made necessary changes after a 3-5 mile test run! Also, If your bearing nut starts to back off, it could easily "crowd" the clearances on the spider gears and cause heat. I've heard several say...

It looks like the sides still drop for loading. It was hard to tell in the video, but I can't imagine them going back to a fixed side. Most of the payload for these trucks is either palletized or designed in it's own machine-loadable container.
