    Antenna/Brushguard mounting bolts

On the old M1009 I had, all the rivnuts were loose (antenna and mirror). I just paid a shop $20 to tack weld the nuts in place and then I painted them again and sealed them with clear silicon. Worked for me.

Rebuilding after 15 years of storage

If you can, get the old heater re-cored (rebuilt) at a radiator shop. That seams to be the best route these days. Can you send a link to the matt clear you used? I am in "eastern Europe" right now and thinking of picking up some to give it a try.

My M1009 has died new curve ball thrown Updated

No expert.....by any stretch, but the loss of power, to me, sound like an IP issue.

    Stalls Intermittently

OK, last update on this. I dosed her good with HOWES Meaner Cleaner and Standyne a few days ago. She was still stumbling and stalling upon lifting off the throttle. I needed to pick up a large package, so I took the truck for a three hour drive (1.5 each way). At the start, when I fired her...

    fuel filter and lines

I didn't convert to a spin-on until my original filter block started leaking. I did keep the original block and will, at some point, refurb it. I used a simple spin-on head (no heater or water separator) sold by Gimmpyrob, as he had a great deal on a kit with enough filters to last me for...

    Cucv has bad surging issues

Would have loved to see some in progress pics. I may have to tackle that valve myself. Was the job fairly easy and straight forward?

    M1009 Carpet/Flooring Ideas

Lots of wire wheels and elbow grease, sanding discs will just clog. There may be some chemicals you could use, but in your neck of the woods they may not be available. Let us know what seats you are looking to swap in.

Another wiring/ground issue with rear tail light

Just FYSA, I had the same issue and it turned out to be a bad bulb socket. I cleaned it and did some "tightening" up of the socket and all was right with the world once again.

    M1009 Carpet/Flooring Ideas

The air around you contains all sorts of crap you breath in every day, it's the "Parts Per Million" you have to be concerned about. I am thinking that once the bedliner stuff dries, since it is impermeable, it should not be "off-gassing" any critical chemicals in any significant levels to be of...

    Stalls Intermittently

Dosed it with HOWES Meaner Cleaner and some Standyne. If that doesn't clean everything up, I'll reorder the DMIAB. I actually did check the fast idle connection (actually all IP connections) this afternoon and everything was clean, cleaned again and nice and tight.

    M1009 Carpet/Flooring Ideas

Looks like the old carpet underlayment backing. Scrape it up, as it will hold moisture and cause more rust.

My 1009 has a bedliner interior. I like it.
