Brake system Work, what to look for?

I hear ya' Rustystud. My boss is calling all of the folks that he knows in the Business that might have one, or even a lead on one. Talk about being made from "Unobtainium"!

    HVAC - no idle

Try a SEMI-truck wrecking yard. This has been available on them for almost a decade. TOTALLY self contained, including heat, and decently compact.

    M35A3 Camper "Junkyard Empire"

And, now you know WHY I hate so-called "reality shows".

Brake system Work, what to look for?

You got lucky, it looks like. Man, I wish the airpac on my Deuce was that clean! I had to take a 3lb hammer to the piston rod in the air chamber to get it to start moving, so that I could even start to tear it down. It is junk anyways, from fluid and other stuff sitting in it for who knows how...

You're welcome! Is by the foot, btw.

    M818 Wiring Question

Big Mikes' Motor Pool is showing the wire to be in stock, and, by the foot, I think.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Yeah, tank diving- bringing a completely different meaning to the old expression of "we dive at five"... I don't miss that about the Stallion or some of the other junks that I worked on.

    Good Guy-Yes, they still exist

Agreed! There really are some great folks on this site! I still have to get my butt back over to Eastern Mo, to pick up the rest of the parts that were given to me.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Hmm.... what's this thing? *that's* interesting.... :jumpin: Now, if I can *only* find an airpac....... The "Deadline Special" can finally go home.

    Any TX/OK/AR Rallies?

Yep, KAMO. I am making the trip back again this year, all the way from Kentucky. I had that much fun.

VIC-1 intercom panel for soft tops

Yep, CVC helmets will be available for all stations. (4, eventually due to crewcab conversion) The helmets don't weigh very much, plus, they seem to hold the headsets in place better than just a over-the-head setup. Also makes easier to zip by the cops when you have the windshield down and...

VIC-1 intercom panel for soft tops

Copy that. It seems that I have *several* variants to be aware of at work- flat pin, round plug, and at least 2 of the battery powered ANC setups. One of the CVC helmets that I am repairing. (replacement speaker, and new ear foam)

    Turn signal ?

I ended up salvaging a unit from a 1953 M54 in the junkpile that works, so, if you can find an older unit, it might be worth grabbing.... Cattlerepairman, your *idea* is on the hot plate, ready to go, if needed...

VIC-1 intercom panel for soft tops

Interesting in that you have the *old* rubber flat plug for your headsets. I have the round *pin* style like your *bail-outs* have. Gary says that it doesn't matter, as long as you don't have the battery-powered ANC headsets, otherwise, you are looking at VIC3 stuff.

    Turn signal ?

That *does* sound like a short to ground. Maybe it is in the switch assembly itself? Have you tried to *bypass* the switch and manually *trip* the relay?

PROBLEMS with New basic Hard Top Overhead Console for M35 military vehicles from TMG

Nice to see some effort being put forth by TMG. Hopefully, your problem with Fed_ex is resolved quickly, Back2Wyo.

PROBLEMS with New basic Hard Top Overhead Console for M35 military vehicles from TMG

Pictures of said "improved" product would be helpful for those are still on the fence about this, as I am one of those that is not sure if I want to have to re-work a "NIB" item to have it function as advertised.

VIC-1 intercom panel for soft tops

I didn't get to see any of the "goings ons", but, I DID get to catch a glimpse of the repair shop as we went past it. The company is still an active .GOV contractor, so..... He went *so* far over my head on the radios and VICs, that my eyes kind of glazed over, but, he realized that and was...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Well, I got the chance to tear into the brake system on my Deuce. The M/C seems to be okay, other than having DOT 3 in it, but, the air-pac is in worse condition than the one that I dragged home. Neither of them is worth trying to clean up and hone, for a rebuild. &*&^@$%$$**!!!!! I just...

VIC-1 intercom panel for soft tops

Hey, US6x4. Gary over in Winchester says "hello". He is going to be helping me put my system together in about a week, hopefully. He is a *very* knowledgeable fellow!
