Yup, check ALL of your fuel lines, supply AND return. Had the same problem not too long ago and it wound up being a tiny nick in my return line. Fixed it and now she will fire up with zero issues.

OK, needed to get up and walk around, so I went out and checked. I think the negative cable is between 42 and 48 inches. Due to surgery, I couldn't take anything apart to get an exact measurement, but I think that should be good for the cable.

When it was down at Rick's place he had it rebuilt, so the trans should be GTG. I have not re-checked vacuum at all connections yet, I will try and get to that as soon as I am able. She ran good and shifted nice and crisp right up until I changed the vacuum pump head.

On mine, the vacuum line from the vacuum pump head to the actuator is going to the top nipple with about 25hg in of vacuum on mine. Vacuum from the actuator to the transmission modulator comes out the bottom nipple and goes to the trans. At least I think that is the correct set up. You should...

OK, picked up the NAPA trans module and installed it this morning. Took her for a ride and nothing changed (*%&$ !!!!). So, originally, I had about 15hg at the rubber hose at the trans. I did notice that the needle on the vacuum gauge bounced around quite a bit, but I am not a master...

The vacuum regulation valve next to the IP is working and I can regulate vacuum when doing the procedure outlined in the TM. I will pick up a modulator first and try that. $20 vs $140.

Most of my rubber fuel line is new. The only piece under the hood that isn't is that return line and that will be replaced in the future, when I can get back to it. Rick, are the rubber lines coming from the tank to the hard lines new?
