Also when pulling trees over, or any other extreme work, it’s safest for you and the truck to use the rear pintle.
Several tons of weight in the bed helps.
Your transmission needs to be in neutral for the pto to spin while the truck is stationary. You could check your hydraulic pressure to make sure is adjusted correctly, but these hydraulic winches are pretty gutless, at least with the drum nearly full of cable. My winch will not drag my truck at...
Rear mount. Had 3/4x2-3/4” bolts from the factory.
Mid mount, the same.
The front mount had two captured double springs with two 5/8x9-3/4” bolts per side.
Let me know if you need anything else, I finally have my truck back at the house for the summer.
Looking great! All that time spent doing it correctly will really pay off. Also make sure you get your lighting worked out, black is hard enough already. Plus it’s very tough getting a solid covering over color matching primer, especially if you can’t see the wet edge on all those irregular...
They most likely blew the diode on the top (start) solenoid in the pcb while monkeying with batteries or reconnecting them wrong with the switches on. Never let a shop unfamiliar with these trucks operate them or touch the electrical system.
If your battery switch is still functioning, jumping the big C&D terminal is not going to help, as that is essentially what the battery switch does. Try screwing the fuel shut off in, flipping the battery switch on, start switch to run, then jump the small trigger wire (#74 iirc?) terminal and...
First, I know very little, and by no means am l a solar or electrical expert by a long stretch! I know there are charge controllers that have a generator start function for when your house battery bank gets low. Then I think there are large split phase inverter systems that can handle your A/c...
Zoomed in on the original best I could. Made by Hutchinson

Japanese tires, made in the US of A!
I think most of our Nittos are made here. My wife has a set of Ridge Grapplers on here Jeep, been a very good tire so far. I also run a lot of Toyos, great tires as well, but those I have are made in Japan.
Saw this at the Navy UDT-SEAL Museum in Ft Pierce.
Don’t know much about HMMWVs to know what mods it had done.
.
I found the wheels and tires interesting.
This museum is a must do if you’re in the area, very well put together and so many incredible MV’s.
“A” dual voltage system is quite common on military vehicles. Between the CUCV, HMMWV and FMTV guys I’ll bet they can help feel your way through yours. What do you plan on putting on top of your chassis?
