Mine's held on with a hex nut. There's a square shaft coming out of the valve body that the lever sets on. Not surprising there are variable designs. Yes, I'll have to just dive in and see why my shaft is so loose (the nut is tight). Thanks, Al Jones '84 M923

Ya, I've been looking for one for awhile too - same thing - shaft is loose. I agree, the price is high (your link). Is the one for the 800 series the same as the 900 series?? Al Jones

I bought an NOS one on ePay for about $50. It is definitely worth it - heavy duty, nice unit. The part number is in the TM. I mocked up a tire change and it works well. Don't forget the accompanying chain to hook the tire to the chain fall. Al Jones '84 M923

There is only one pair of axle sensors on the 900 series... making your conversion that much easier. Check out the ABS section of the TMs. Chapter 4 in the -23 series. Also check out the ABS WMO instructions. That will get you heading in the right direction. I recommend you test your ABS...

The battery relocation kit does not call for insulating the wires near the exhaust. The directions that came with the kit have the wires going back much further (rearward) that what you have done, resulting in adequate distance from wire to pipe. I've checked mine a couple of times and the...

Oh and note I'll have to fabricate a latch for all the genny doors. They obviously won't open with the cover on the bows. I'm also trying to dig up some genny cord to build an umbilical to plug in the pole drop. As always, a project in progress. Al Jones

I've had things like that spray welded and machined back. Those sorts of operations are usually only in metropolitan areas as they pretty specialized. Good luck. Al Jones
