Use it to help brake going down hill. Run it before going up a big hill to pre-cool the radiator, then turn it off when when the fan kicks on right as the truck is falling on it’s face near the top of the hill.
Works good good enough for me, with a 1/2” air line attached directly to the 1” impact and a glad-hand threaded on the the other end.
Pull the hand throttle out to speed the compressor up, and you’ll only need a short break or two per wheel if any.
Yep, a bunch of video recording trickery going on in those promos.
Plenty of these in different cheap brands for around $100 already on Amazon. I own several brands with DVR function that I have in all my vehicles. They work great for dash cams in case of a incident, but your not going to...
It’s possible, he used to sell a lot of trucks on here, and probably still uses some MV’s. Check below the star and see if you might see the word excavating. @jcappeljr is just outside Delta, PA, and still pops in here every once in a great while.
Did you make an offer or get a feel if the owner would come down on his price? I have a rule on twice the scrap price if I’m going to take a gamble on a purchase. Not sure what scrap value is right now but without seeing the truck in person with your description of condition, I’m thinking...
I’m about 5 miles east of Sunman, I’m not familiar with that truck, but did see an unknown crusty m35 at IGA a couple of weeks ago. I don’t think the transfer case is normal, but Gimpy knows a lot more about the m35’s than I ever will…
I would guess close enough, but there are plenty of choices to weed through the specs on. Don’t hang up on port size either, you can easily bushing down 1/4.
Sounds a bit high priced with the little info you gave. The tops bolt on but we’re going to need pictures! What area of town are you in, and where is the truck?
IIRC, CTIS will time out and go to 5 flashing with shrader valves at all 6 wheels. Not sure how many it can handle and still function.
Block off the line to the hub in question. Hit the emergency button when tracking leaks, that will keep the system from timing out as fast and do pressure...
Assuming the same pump as my A2.
Pump is rated at 27 gpm, 3000 psi, and 2700 rpm max., but pressure needs regulated to 1700-1800 psi, and with pto ratio, engine rpm is 1800 max.
