    M923 shift point

You can get a little bit by tightening the governor springs a few clicks, or a lot by putting a 3 or 4k kit in.

    Big Sandy River Tn?

I’ll be heading through toward the end of March, if you still need something hauled home by then.

    Cummins 6CTA8.3 Injection Timing

Also you can get new generic lift pumps for around $25. If you haven’t already replaced your it’s always good to have a spare in the tool box anyhow!

    Cummins 6CTA8.3 Injection Timing

I put the adjustable one in mine. They wont magically give you more power, but if you are having problems they are a fairly cheap place to start throwing parts. As said they are prone to failure on our old motors.

    M923 shift point

This is where I’m at on two different trucks. Will have to see if I can find the instructions for the throttle linkage MWO. Seems like I remember it outlining the position. If nothing else, you can always go back to where it is now if you don’t get the desired result.

    Recharging Exide 6tmf

Do you have a load tester? If not I’m sure you can improvise. In an old battery open voltage is not a very good indicator of condition. If you leave the other two in the truck, just the load of the lights will probably prove there junk (test each 12v individually under load to find a bad one...

Advice on repair radiator or replace with new m931a2

This looks like the stuff we used to use. Guessing we got it from NAPA, or Car-quest? Not sure if you want to cover to whole thing in RTV, should only need it on the joints where you have a break on the corners.

Advice on repair radiator or replace with new m931a2

This is what I used for mine. If your not on a budget, have a radiator shop reseal the tanks for you. Not too difficult if you have to do it yourself. Used to be able to buy narrow rolls of cork gasket with adhesive on one side, and use a dab of permatex on the seams, been a long time though

To tow or not to tow that is the question! Peterbilt w/MV tow bar 6x6 cornbinder

There are a lot of heavy haulers in California, they may rent you a weight box reasonably cheap. It wouldn’t be very cost effective to build your own for a one time use.

    fuel line cracked

Can you post a pic of what you have going on? I may have a line that I could trade you. I would use bronze, but I think you will need o2 to get enough heat. Other than that if you can solder a refrigerant line you should have no problem brazing.

    pyrometer probe location

    Yep, that’s where mine is.

How do you store your shorts for later use?

Lucked into a bunch of free angle! I wish I would have gotten a picture of my crate and the bottom of my welding table before I loaded this rack. Large diameter pipe works really well for a short rack also.

    Wheel valve

Correct. You can take the valve apart and clean it up, sometimes it helps...

What have you done to your MTVR today?

Looks very nice but... way too much drop, on too much truck, not to self destruct with anything but the lightest trailers.

    Resources for identifying low bridges?

“Allstays camp and rv” app is what I have on my phone for our truck camper trips. Has bridge and tunnel info, as well as a lot of other useful info.

    Air Bag rear suspension

Don’t forget when calculating your loads that you have about 2,000lb per rear axle/2 tires that is under the bags and not carried by them. I was looking at some longer travel 5” diameter bags a few years ago. IIRC, the idea stalled out due to the CTIS hoses being in the way.

    Dump Bed Kit Installation

I would guess these are common Power Hoist PH520 kits?
