Good luck on your project. Make sure you run it outside in the can first. Hate to see you do all this work just to pull again because of a problem. Better to fix it before the install.2cents

Cracked Block Problems in GM Turbo Diesels
You can keep the 24 volt injector pump that is on it. You will have to run 24 volts to the top of the injector pump for it to work ( with a switch in the cab to turn on or off the engine ). Or just swap the top cap from a 12 volt injector pump. ( best way to go ).[thumbzup]

The GEP 6.5L with the Banks turbo made a big difference in power. Need to get bigger wheels now.
Still looking for an axle. Looks I will stay with the SRW. Can't find the right dually axle.
In the glove box it has codes GT5 (4.10 ratio) and G80 (Positraction, Limited Slip)

The starter is 24 volts, NATO slave cable hookup in grill is for 24 volt and so is the guage on the dash.
I guess you could hook-up a 24 volt radio system.
I won two injector pumps the other day. First one was $440 shipped. The guy had a second one and he gave it to me for $300 shipped.
