Hope he gets the problem fixed. I will be heading back to South Florida from KY on Friday(I-75). I know it's a few days away, but I'll be driving a M923 5 ton and I have a tow-bar just in case he needs a tow.
Getting ready to leave in the morning. Packing things I might need. Never know what you may need on the side of the road. Might be an overkill, but I hate it when I have the item and I have to buy it cause I left it at home.
Taking: Tools, Jacks, Air Hose, LED Lights, Recovery Tow Lights...
Getting the gooseneck trailer ready along with other recovery items that I might need. I'll post pictures later.
Looks like I will be coming back empty with the gooseneck and the 5ton cargo from MO and KY. If someone needs a trailer pulled(by the 5ton) or anything hauled(5ton or gooseneck)...
Sometime they leak, the rubber is old.
Most people will replace the hole chamber($75 to $125ea)( a lot safer if you don't know what your doing) instead of taking it apart and replacing the pancake($5ea)
I will check mine and if they are bad I'll replace all the pancakes.
