5 ton Pintle to 2" hitch conversion?

Depending on the height of the truck you purchased and the rollback it could work, maybe still a short wood ramp or just the tailgate? Also on top of what Toby suggested many fairgrounds, industrial, warehousing, or shipping businesses have loading ramps that they may let you use on either end...

What did you do to your trailer today.

Hey, I’ll buy the 105 and deliver it to him for an even trade on his m322! Just kidding Toby... the m322 is just a little out of my budget right now. I am looking for something smaller/cheaper right now to haul my truck camper to Haspin. I’ll start a new thread for opinions on what I need.

What did you do to your trailer today.

What where the singles rated at, and did you need to swap out to longer studs? Hmm... I’ve been looking for around a 25ton drag to move my loader short distances around the farm. Do you know where I can find any of the manufacturers info?

What's your best 'that was dumb' moment involving your 5 ton?

So far only two best moments. The first was “trusting” a MV fuel gauge. I was less than a mile away from home with 12 ton of gravel in the bed. The neighbors Powerstroke to rescue! The second was trying to follow Gimpy at Haspin. A busted fuel line 90... a rusty come-along, some rubber hose...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Minus some common hardware, this is the meat of what was replaced by the kit. all three original parts would be easy to modify. I’ll try to search up a past tread and post some dimensions and these instructions, hopefully in the next couple of day.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Yeh, Ive watched a few cheap civilian truck come and go, timing and location hasn’t been right yet for me to go pick one up yet. I have a list of excuses that rivals your high horsepower nemesis’ list... I probably need to keep an eye out for a better transfer case also.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

If I ever find a different motor for my other truck, I could maybe come off of some of the parts on it.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Post up an ad in the wanted section. Someone used to have a pile of them, unfortunately I think it was a member who has since passed? I’ll try to dig up the NSN for the kit after a bit. Wouldn’t be too hard to make...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Look at the throttle arm on the side of your pump. Originally the throttle linkage was connected at the second hole up, from my pinky finger, on the new part it is moved all the way out to the end of the arm.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

It changes the geometry on your throttle linkage, greatly reducing the amount on peddle pressure needed.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Hey Elijah, do you have the throttle linkage MWO on your a2? I did mine after finding a kit at Findlay this year, money well spent, no more temptation to drive with the hand throttle.

    M925a2 Power Surge

I’m hoping you’ve been too busy making a fancy “free to a good home” sign for your lonely, neglected little engine. I’d be willing to pay a small rehoming fee for it...

    M105 bed placement on 4x4 M35A3

I like that sliding door idea too, would be cool and simple to build! My $.02 your gooseneck ball placement, you typically never want it behind the axle. I would run about 6” in front of the axle, if it doesn’t make your swing radius too big for typical trailers. I don’t have a trailer close by...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Looks like you taught your speedo to measure amps...

    M818 Transfer Case Upgrade T-138 to T-1138

Yep, the only married “5 ton” case I can think of off the top of my head is the FMTV.

    Uses for Deuces

Looks like fun! I was hoping you had a sense of humor about a second after I posted that. This was a good day in Indiana mud, not so much a drag race though...
